Legendary Gems provide unique effects and boost the attributes of your equipment in Diablo Immortal can be attained by the following ways.

  • Use Legendary Crests or Rare Crests on Elder Rifts
  • Get From the Battle Pass
  • Buy From the Market
  • Craft at the Apprentice Jeweler using Runes from Elder Rifts.
  • Can further be increased with Awakening

These come in either 2, 3, 4, or 5 stars with the number of stars affecting their bonuses.

When you take damage, you have 20% chance to unleash retribution on all nearby enemies, dealing damage equal to 12% of your maximum Life. Cannot occur more often than once every 20 seconds.

Lvl.2 Damage increased to 14%.
Lvl.3 For 6 seconds after unleashing divine retribution, you take 4% decreased dmg.

5 Star Tier Upgrade

If you have a low tier five star and happen to come across a higer one, you can easly increase the star count when upgradeing. Durring the upgrade process use the higher star count gem as the copy.

Below we will be upgradeing a two star Seeping Bile from rank 2 to rank 3. For this upgrade we need 1 copy and 75 gem fragments

For the copy we will use a 3 Star Seeping Bile Rank 1. If we had a 4 or 5 star we could use that instead.

When we place the upgrade materials in, you can see the Rank 2 will become a Rank 3 and also turn into a 3 Star.
