Legendary Gem Awakening

What is Awakening?

Awakening adds new powers to Legendary Items, gives additional Resonance and can give you bonus traits. This is the only thing that is not free to play.

How to Awaken?

To awaken an item you need a rank 6 or higher Legendary item socketed with rank 10 Legendary Gem. can be awakened and a Dawning Echo. Once you meet the criteria visit Vic the Master Jeweler in Westmarch.
Note: Dawning Echo can only be acquired from the store for 1000 orbs.

Enhanced Attributes

Legendary Items will get an extra bonus associated with the skill essence they modify.

• Cooldown decreased by 10%
• Damage increased by 10%
• Energy consumed 10% slower
• Summon Life increased by 10%

Along with the above bonues you can also unlock offensive or defensive traits (depending on the type of Gem you awakened) and more resonance, when you place Gems inside and upgrade them.

The list below shows what traits you will receive at each upgrade level and how much extra resonance is needed to unlock.
1* will only receive the top two, 2* will get the third and 5* will get them all when fully upgraded.

Offensive Bonues

	50	60	Damage done increasd by 1% per party member
		160	Damage to full life enemies increased by 5%
		260	Damage to enemies below 30% Life increased by 4%

Defensive Bonues

10	10	20	Damage taken while moving decreased by 3%
20	30	40	Damage taken while suggering loss of control decreased by 4%
	50	60	Block Chance increased by 2%.
		160	Damage taken from nearby enemies decreased by 2%
		260	Damage taken reduced by 1%

How to move your Awaken slot

If you would like to move the awaken slot to another, you’ll have to visit the Blacksmith for now.
Take the item you have awakened and rank transfer it to another spare item. Next transfer rank back to original, but don’t transfer the gem or awakened. Remove the gem and then extract legendary to get the echo back.
