Overflowing Arsenal Limited-Time Event
Overflowing Arsenal Limited-Time Event
Coveted panoplies swallowed up long ago by the Burning Hells’ emissaries have resurfaced in Sanctuary, and in suspicious amounts. Could this be an opportunity to recover gilded garments. . . or is it just another sinister illusion?
From August 7, 3 a.m.–September 4, 3 a.m. server time, in pursuit of the Overflowing Arsenal, you’ll cut down foes to complete 5 weekly tasks up to four times each, earning Overflowing Tokens for your valor. These Tokens will help you progress towards milestones that provide you with a choice between 2 item rewards. The items will always be of either Legendary or Set rarity. Adventurers can also receive an additional reward for how consistently they protect Sanctuary. Log in on a Saturday during Overflowing Arsenal’s run and receive 50 Overflowing Tokens, 5,000 Gold, and 10 Beguiling Dust.
Those looking to blaze through the milestones like a bat out of the Burning Hells have an option available to them as well. For 160 Eternal Orbs, players can purchase a Legendary Crest bundle that comes with a 150% Overflowing Tokens acquisition bonus (50% faster than normal). This bundle can be found in the Overflowing Arsenal event menu.
Sunfall Reliquary Grotto
The Sunfall Reliquary Grotto is available from August 7, 3 a.m.–August 28, 2:59 a.m. server time. You can use Reliquary Grotto Tokens to purchase the ability to draw one item at random from the available item pool. There are 10 items total, and each can only be acquired once. Each time you draw an item, the cost of the next draw will increase. Performing 10 draws guarantees that you will receive all items available in the Sunfall Reliquary Grotto. Your first draw is free.
Reliquary Grotto Tokens can be purchased with Eternal Orbs, and any unspent Tokens will be converted into Platinum once the Sunfall Reliquary Grotto event ends. All items drawn will automatically go to your inventory.
Because items from the Sunfall Reliquary Grotto are acquired randomly per draw, we want to provide players with the initial draw rates for each item to aid in deciding if they would like to engage with the event past their first free draw.
Note: The drop rates provided below are for the first draw only and will adjust to reflect the relative probabilities of the remaining items in the Revenant Market item pool.
- 5 Gem Fragments: 74.24%
- 12 Telluric Pearls: 21.93%
- 6 Legendary Crests: 1.41%

All Clans on Deck
The armies of the Burning Hells are mustering their forces for a ploy, most assuredly of nefarious intent. Feature Updates
Battleground Zealous Idols
The resurrection time for the defending team during Phase 2 of Battleground has been increased. As the Idol gets closer to the end of the lane, the resurrection timer will increase.
Developer’s Note: This change is being made to aid the win rate of attackers since the current system created a win rate distribution that favors defenders by a considerable amount.
Helliquary Bosses
Four additional Helliquary Bosses can now be fought in Normal Difficulty in addition to Lassal the Flame-Spun: Vitaath the Shivering Death, Gorgothra the Claimer, Beledwe and Gishtur, and Izilech the Misshapen. The new bosses will provide a first kill bonus.
To unlock Hell Difficulty I, playuers still only need to defeat Lassal. If you have already felled Lassal on Normal Difficulty, then you’ll automatically receive their first kill bonus upon logging in.
Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle
Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle have received a variety of updates to its drop rates and rewards.
- The drop rate of Runes received from defeating monsters has been increased.
- An Abyssal Essence is now guaranteed to drop in Level 5 Danger of Erebban Castle upon successful completion.
- Achieving a score of 1,000 or above guarantees an Abyssal Essence drop in Abyssal Verge.
Developer’s Note: We have received feedback stating how difficult it is to obtain Runes and Abyssal Essence from Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle. These changes were made to aid players in acquiring these items. We will continue to monitor the rate at which players are obtaining Abyssal Essence and Runes.
Normal Gems can now be received as a reward from Abyssal Verge and Castle Erebban. In total, 63 Unbound Normal Gems and 63 Bound Normal Gems can be received from these activities and Hidden Lair each week.
Terror Essence Codex Task
The weekly Terror Essence Codex Task can now hold up to 2 weeks of rewards and will no longer reset weekly. The previous iteration of this feature was too absolute in your ability to pass or fail, so we’re creating more forgiveness for those who can’t complete their objective in a week’s time.
Item Name Display
The color of loot displayed in the Wilderness has been adjusted to better match their appropriate rarities in the PC version of Diablo Immortal only.
New Challenge Rift Season
Fifty new levels will be added to Challenge Rifts on August 19, increasing the total from 250 to 300. Remember to cement your high score in the current season’s leaderboard before the next one begins. Conquest and first-time clear rewards can also be earned from each Challenge Rift Season, so look for opportunities to push your build to reach these goals.
Demonic Remains and Charms Lock Feature
A lock icon has been added to the item menu for Demonic Remains and Charms. Toggling this on stops this item from being accidentally Salvaged or Destroyed.
